Everything In

To Bryan's dismay, she finally found the Tupperware cabinet. And - as is her usual custom - she taste tested several pieces. But she hasn't been back. One and done. That's the way she rolls.

The Slide

KW has recently figured out the slide, and she loves it! Doesn't matter if she face plants or gets her hands dirty at the bottom. The first few days, Lee or I would wait at the bottom and catch her, but now she is flying off, all by herself!

I love about this video: 1) her mullet flying out to the sides behind her, 2) the way she stops to smile for the camera (because she thought I was taking pictures), and 3) the way she dusts her hands off after each ride.

Pillows

Before KW was born, I used to let Lee play in the pillows on our bed - building houses, making tunnels, and generally roughhousing. While we were in our old house, and sharing a room with KW, he was not allowed to do this anymore. For the past few months, I have been letting him play pillows when he is alone, but he has been asking more and more frequently to have KW play with him. I finally let her, and she loves it! He does have to tone it down for her, but I don't think he cares because it is more fun to have his playmate. Here they are in a "hole" in the pillows:

Do you like her skater 'do? We suspect a haircut is not going to be a pretty scene, so we are delaying as long as possible. The big event is planned for the weekend before Easter.

Low on Groceries

Who doesn't love a breakfast of graham crackers with Nutella and pears?

Train, Elevators, and Escalators (Oh, My!)

Last weekend, we came up with a quick Family Day on the fly. It was the last Saturday of the month, so we had to do it, but the weather was not cooperating with my original plans. B came up with the fun idea of riding Marta downtown and riding the elevators to the top of the Westin hotel, where you can walk around and see the metro area. It was a beautiful, clear day, and we had a great time!

The Train Ride
The Elevator Ride
The Escalator Ride
I am afraid of escalators, but the escalators in Atlanta take it to a whole new level. For some reason, I offered to take Lee up the escalator at Peachtree Center while B and KW took the elevator. I almost lost my lunch - it looks like the people in front of you are about to fall right on your face. And don't even look backward! Thankfully, Lee didn't seem to notice my death grip and rigid body. Needless to say, B brought him back down! The photos really don't do it justice.
