On Wheels

After Lee's fun fair ride last Sunday, Bryan took him out front to learn to ride the tricycle. Steering on his own still leaves something to be desired, but he picked up the pedaling pretty quickly.

The Fair Comes to Chester

Last Sunday, I was in the kitchen when I heard a lot of yelling and laughing in the back yard. I went outside to find that the Mid-South Fair had come to Chester Ave... Bryan was zipping Lee around the backyard perimeter on his little car. I got a little nervous when they went by the back fence, but - hey - what is a fair ride without the possibility of hitting something?

Getting There

I rarely feel like I am doing the mom thing well - between work, daily life, and volunteer commitments, my mommy skills flounder and I wonder if I will ever "get there". But, on this day, when Lee would only nap on me, and he had his arm draped around my big ol' belly, I felt a little like the quintessential mommy.

Perks

Sometimes, paying 100Gs for your college education does have its little perks.

The Pool is Closed for the Winter

Is it possible Lee could have changed so much from our first day in the pool last spring to the last day in the pool this fall? Yes, I suppose so. Look at that baby face!
