Painting - Part 1 (cont)

We have added red to the mural tonight. We are done for the evening. We'll share more progress tomorrow. (By "we", I am referring to Chloe).

Painting - Part 1

Chloe (Amelia's sister) arrived last night and began sketching out the mural this morning. The mural will be patterned after an artist that Amelia enjoys - - Brian Andreas - - who's work is known as "Storypeople." (http://www.storypeople.com/)

There will also be a quote on the walls. Amelia's other sister, Elise, will arrive this evening to help out tomorrow and Sunday.

Starting the sketch.

Amelia tapes stencils on the wall for the quote.

The painting begins!!

More painting (yes - we are still trying to use the room as an office as well.)

New Baby Hardman Pics

We had another doctor appointment this morning. Everything went fine. They did another ultrasound because they didn't get good pictures of everything last time (specifically the heart and stomach). They were able to get the needed pics today and all was fine.

The baby weighs 1 lb. 11 oz. at 24 weeks, 5 days. He/She is right on schedule.

We're looking forward to Amelia's sisters coming this weekend to help paint the nursery. Check back this weekend for pictures of the transformation.

Amelia likes to think he/she has a "ring pop" on his/her finger. as he/she lounges in the womb in a reclined position.

Another face shot - - - less "alien" than last time!

A second face shot.

Looks like an "average" nose.

Close up.

Another profile.

Another of his/her famous foot shots.

A final foot/body shot.

Amelia at 22 Weeks

Here's another Mom-to-be picture at 22 weeks (21.8 to be exact). She is standing in the same place as the previous pictures, but the baby's room has begun its transformation (see previous post). We'll be back at the doctor on March 4th!

Making Room (literally)

Well, this weekend, Amelia was on a women's retreat so it was time for Dad-to-be to begin the "nursery" process. We are changing our office into the baby's room. This weekend reaffirmed why I did not choose painting as a career. Below, you can see a before and after from a couple of angles.
We have a desk to give away (in good condition except one file drawer and the keyboard drawer - it also has a hutch that is not pictured). It is heavy and difficult to transport, but one man's trash is another's treasure, so let us know.
